Stand Back
There's a great legend behind this song. Apparently Nicks was driving along when 'Little Red Corvette' came on the radio. She started humming along to the synth lines and the melody for 'Stand Back' developed from that. So she called Prince to tell him the story and ask him to play synthesizers on the album recording. When Prince showed up to record, he rolled into the studio without saying a word to anyone, walked over to the synths, laid down the tracks then, says Nicks, "he just got up and left as if the whole thing happened in a dream."

ELI ESCOBAR - GLASS HOUSE
This new tune from Eli Escobar on Plant Music is so awesome. It's like a deep house electro warehouse jam - and it sounds like it could have been made in any of the last three decades. One of my faves of the year so far. Please support good music and buy the 12" here or the mp3 here.

Two of my favorite dudes are DJ Eleven & Dj Ayres of the Rub. The Glamorous Life mixes have been some of my favorites to come out from the under the Rub, and perfect summertime soundtracks, which is all I care about right now.
