The Boys are Back in Town

Heres a little tour video from the Smalltown Djs + Team Canada Tour last week. Some more west Coast dates are happening in March and east coast in April. Looking forward to it. Smalltown Djs back at the HIFI tonight after a one month Hiatus.

So once a month, Pump and I get together and play at Local 522, at a party we call Stars And Muscles. The idea is that we play a buncha shit we really like, and dead the commercial shit for a night. Our great friend Ali B’s weekly Saturday night Paradise sessions have been an instant hit since they started around two years ago, with the sole purpose of bringing the funk back to the mean streets of West London. All sorts of established DJs have been down, playing their alternative selections, mostly unannounced, alongside Ali B’s own eclectic style, seamlessly taking in everything from blues and funk to rock, soul, dub and disco. The ever faithful crowd regularly let loose on the low-lit dance floor, with the only complaint being the late night long queues and Ali B’s notorious ‘request are £10’ sign, which to this day, as far as we know, nobody has ever actually paid....
